Before the name The Whiles took hold, we were Mrs. Children. Alive put the band on its cover in the summer of 2003.
The cover promised a band emerging from the brink of a breakup with “a great demo and a promising new direction.” It is one of the clearest surviving snapshots of the moment just before The Whiles began.
